코딩수업: p5js로 디지털 화분 만들기, 서로맑음 스튜디오와 함께한 작업물입니다. 청소년의 자발적 선택과 참여의 기회를 제공하는 공주시청소년센터는 서로맑음 스튜디오와 함께 이용하는 17세 이하의 청소년 15명을 상대로 하루동안 코딩을 가르치는 수업을 진행했다. 수업의 목적은 청소년들이 "코딩에 적성이 맞는지" 스스로 확인할 수 있는 경험을 제공하는 것이었다. 수업환경을 위해 별도의 설치가 필요 없는 p5.js 라이브러리를 활용하여 디지털 화분을 제작해보는 수업을 진행했다. 디지털 화분 만들기 수업은 화분의 X,Y 위치와 줄기 길이, 꽃잎의 수 등을 변수로 설정하고 마우스를 클릭할 때 잎과 화분 색상, 화분 크기 등을 변화하는 함수를 코딩한다. 이 수업을 통해 학생들은 자바스크립트의 변수, 함수에 대해 이해할 수 있었다. Gongju Youth Center, which offers young people chances to choose and take part on their own, ran a one-day coding class with Seoro-Malgm Studio for 15 participants aged 17 and under. The purpose was to give them an experience in which they could see for themselves whether coding suits them. The class used the p5.js library, which needs no separate installation, and had them make a digital flowerpot. Students set variables such as the pot’s X and Y position, the stem length, and the number of petals, then coded a function that changes the leaf and pot colors and the pot size when the mouse is clicked. Through the class they could understand variables and functions in JavaScript.
