UX디자인을 하면서 가족과의 소통을 필요로하는 20대 사회초년생을 페르소나로 설정했는데, 그의 가족인 50~60대 부모님은 텍스트로 주고받는 소통방식에 어려움을 느꼈다. 그래서 녹음 버튼 하나로 목소리를 녹음하여 저장하고, 간직할 수 있는 방식을 생각해냈다. 이러한 방식이 더 직관적이고 유저들에게 감성적이게 작용하여 사용을 유도할 수 있을 것이라 생각했다. Ullim is a closed, voice-recognition SNS app made to ease the breakdown of communication within families. The project was developed as a team: Yang Dahun led the planning, and everyone took part in the design. The UX persona was a twenty-something just entering the workforce who needed a way to talk with family, while that person’s parents, in their fifties and sixties, found text-based conversation difficult. The idea was a single record button that captures a voice, saves it, and lets the family keep it. That approach felt more intuitive and emotional, and more likely to encourage people to use it.
